Sandstone Splitter Ring - Damascus Steel

from 550.00

Inspired by the sandstone of the American West and the legendary splitter cracks that we climb. This ring is made of Damascus stainless steel. This unique metal is created by layering two different alloys of stainless steel and forging and twisting it to create different patterns. This particular pattern is inspired by the swirling wavy lines in sandstone.

I carve a splitter crack design in the ring by hand; each one is unique. Or choose the "Custom Mountain Design" selection to start working on a design with your favorite mountain(s) engraved on it.

You will be prompted for ring width, size, and optional engraved message at checkout.

Damascus stainless steel is a hard steel that cannot be resized so make sure that your sizing is accurate. If you are uncertain of your size, I can send you a sizer with instructions. It is also important that you don't wear your ring while doing anything where you could damage your finger or get the ring stuck on your finger. Steel is hard to cut off.

I am proud to donate a portion of every sale to The Access Fund to help protect our climbing areas.
